On this edition of Clean and Sober Radio, host Gary Hendler and cohost Mark Sigmund talk with former NHL star Chris Therien. Chris played with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Dallas Stars for 12 seasons. Playing in 753 games, he is credited as being the longest-tenured defenseman in franchise history. But, as we all know, fame and fortune might not save you from an addiction as Chris knows all too well. In recovery since 2006, Chris is a sought after speaker about his professional athletic life while struggling with addiction. His message is of hope that we can and do recover.
