This week, Mike is joined by Ana Gersch. Ana is a trauma coach, a mom, a wife and a former 12yr old. Her work around trauma helps her clients make sense of their past experiences and how it impacts their daily lives today. She helps navigate triggers with her clients which in turn helps calm the nervous system.
This was an amazing conversation about the ways in which having a narcissistic parent as a child manifests itself when that child becomes an adult. Mike and Ana also discuss such things as identity and compassion vs. empathy. This is clearly hits Mike in a big way as we will hear . He allows himself to be vulnerable to the trauma coach and becomes the patient for a moment or two.
