Closing music by the Vandy BlueGrass Trio -- recorded live at Harpeth Presbyterian -- used with permission. My usual recommendation for a weather app is your local TV station has the best local weather personality. FYI/if you live in the greater Chicago area you can’t do better than Tom Skilling. America’s best-known weatherman — he doesn’t use “the flawed European model”. He’s got more experience than anyone else. Clime’s best graphic is NOAA weather radar. Accuweather also permits a download of NOAA Radar which I eschew. I prefer Accuweather Radar on my smartphone. It pins my location, not the airport as NOAA does. Don’t be fooled by the phrase “Doppler Weather Radar” every Radar is a Doppler device. Storms are either moving toward the Radar or away from the Radar. Radar is an anachronism for radio ranging & detection.
