When I travel on the interstate I typically set my cruise control to 62 MPH & maintain 2250 RPM on my V6 Mercedes. Depending on the terrain I can get between 19 to 22 miles per gallon. Yes, Virginia, you may get there sooner if you drive 70 MPH but the time you save will be spent refueling your ride.
