It's the Sports Equinox as we get close to Thanksgiving and so much to get to on this brand new episode of the KOGpod with Blake Cripps and Tommy Castor!

On this episode #106:

- Kansas basketball plays in the Champions Classic in Indy vs. Duke.  At the time of recording, the game had not started yet, so we don't have the results, but Blake and Tommy talk about the talent on this team, plus what sort of things you can glean from the matchup with the #7 Blue Devils.

- The Kansas Jayhawks football are now bowl eligible after defeating Oklahoma State 37-16.  The Hawks fall to Texas Tech in Lubbock, but are assured a bowl game for the first time in 15 years and assured a non-losing season in Year 2 of the Lance Leipold Era.  Blake and Tommy talk about the turnaround and where this team stands at the QB position with Jalon Daniels potentially returning and what things need to be shored up if this team wants to get to a winning season.

- The Kansas State Wildcats are firmly in the driver's seat to play in the Big 12 Championship game against TCU.  After falling to Texas at home, the Wildcats rebound in Waco with a 31-3 drubbing of Baylor.  The Wildcats defense is elite and the guys discuss how lockdown K-State's defense can be, and what it means to this team to more than likely have QB Will Howard lead the team the rest of the way.

- The Kansas City Chiefs find themselves in the #1 seed spot in the AFC after beating Tennessee and Jacksonville in consecutive weeks, while Buffalo loses two in a row.  Blake and Tommy discuss the lack of production from former first round pick RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, plus what they have seen on both sides of the ball for KC, as they prepare for another primetime matchup, this time against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

- Trouble is brewing for the Wichita State Shockers basketball squad after dropping a buy game over the weekend to Alcorn State.  Blake and Tommy break down everything that went wrong for Wichita State and if this program is at a crossroads with head coach Isaac Brown and the entire fanbase.

- Our Wichita Whiparound has an update on Wichita Thunder hockey and KCAC football in the playoffs.

- Our A's C's and R's segment is all about the Royals announcing plans for a new downtown stadium, plus state high school football and Newman University men's basketball.
