In our second-to-last episode of the year, we talk policing with Deputy Smoes, our school's resource officer to gain perspective on his career. He discusses his passion for being in the Ottawa County Department as well as his concern for the recent events regarding police around the country. Deputy Smoes sees himself as a resource to students and families; he wants to continue to be used for the benefit of those in the community and school.
