When you aren't sure what you are supposed to do to get your 7-year old son back on track, you tend to get worried.

Understanding that everyone learns in different ways... including children.

I have been extremely frustrated over the past month or so, trying to fit my son into a box that he doesn't feel he belongs in.

Yesterday he showed me why he doesn't want to be confined to just one learning style.

I came home to him writing the lyrics of entire songs by using Alexa and Youtube to fill out his notebook paper.

He explained his process and I was blown away.

I know we carry a standard of how we learn in this society, but he just reminded me that everyone has a different learning style.

Now, I will do my best to make sure I support him as we make progress.
