If Feb 3rd 1959 is the day the music died, then it can be argued that Rock-n-Roll was born on May 27th 1957, when the single That'll Be The Day by The Crickets was released. In 2 short years a young man from Lubbock Texas changed the face of music, how it was recorded and how it was marketed forever, Now 63 years after his untimely death at the age of only 22 Buddy Holly is still revered and loved by millions around the world. Buddy may have only been on this earth for 22 years, but he made it a better place

Tonight we welcome the curator of The Buddy Holly Center, in Buddy's hometown of Lubbock Texas  to discuss his life, legacy and influence on music for generations.
