Are the conversations that women have with other women different than the conversations men have with other men?

I’ve been wondering about this lately and examining how much time my female friends and I waste talking about romantic things that need to be discussed outside of our friendship and inside of romantic relationships.

What conversations are you having with men and women and are they different from the ones you have with your romantic partner?
