This episode of Reconnaissance documents the civic protest of the proposed multi-million dollar redevelopment of the historic Bedford Union Armory in Crown Heights—which has existed up to the present as public land. This is a portrait of the people of Crown Heights, the legacy of coalition-based community organizing here.
