The Summer Solstice brings about the longest day (and the shortest night) of the year. In 2020, Jarrett and Linda observed it by watching the sunset at Stonehenge through the English Heritage's Facebook page, which went live to allow people to watch the sunset and the sunrise at this ancient site.
Back in Texas, Jarrett and Linda marked the day by going on an adventure right outside their home. They went for a hike (more like a walk) at Lake Creek Trail, a 1.5 mile trail in northwest Austin. It offered a nice escape from the business of town and made for the perfect sunset, which seemed to happen at around 9:00 p.m., so it definitely seemed to be the longest day of the year. Angela and BeeGee joined them on the hike as well and seemed to enjoy the site, even if Linda didn't let them get into the creek.
