On today’s episode, the opening of Scripture gifts continues and we turn our attention to the Inspired Word. My guest, Angie Baughman, begins by talking about one her favorite traditions - passing the light from one candle to another at church on Christmas Eve. As we continued, I loved how she likened God’s Word to Mary Poppins’ carpet bag—it looks ordinary from the outside. But once you open it, and dig through, you’ll be surprised and delighted by what comes forth! We also discussed how God is with us in our battles and encourages us through His Word.

She grew up a preacher’s kid and jumped into ministry as early as her teenage years. She has served as a pastor since 2004. Angie also loves taking trips to Walt Disney World, sipping cups of hot tea, watching old Law & Order episodes, and almost anything with a paisley print.
