Do you feel it is either the job of one of the genders to initiate the intimacy in a relationship? Or Should intimacy be the work of both parties to initiate equally?

From my experience in a relationship between a Man and Woman I feel that although both should definitely initiate intimacy, the Man has a bit of a moral obligation to initiate things more frequently providing his Woman that security simply because Woman are generally more emotional than Men.
