Sean Ranney is an ultrarunner, adventurer and race director of Northern California's answer to the Barkley Marathons, the Euchre Bar Massacre. We talked to him about how got into running after coming from a multi-sport background and how he created this incredibly tough race that travels all throughout the historic North Fork of the American River canyon. The North Fork is steeped in mining history, savage climbs and descents and maybe even some ghosts!
