It takes a village to raise a child- is a phrase everyone knows and agrees upon when hearing.  However, systems of support always seems hard to swallow.  Listen to me as I relate the "village" image to systems of support.  An adult needs to stay sane and productive in the work of raising and being in relationship with children.  Having systems in place is the way you protect sanity and obtain goals.
