Transatlantic History Ramblings

Episode 11: The Tudors and people with disabilities with special guest Phillipa Vincent-Connolly

Listen Later

Hello ramblers, tonight we are honored to be  joined by author and historian Phillipa Vincent-Connolly to discuss the Tudors and the court members with disabilities. Phillipa is not only a brilliant author and researcher, but also an advocate for people with disabilities. She was kind enough to join us and discuss her upcoming book and the history of the people with disabilities that were taken in by King Henry and the Tudors.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the UK has but bandwidth restrictions on their internet users, this resulted in the audio breakups that were unavoidable during our discussion, we are so sorry for the sound quality, but, as we felt the topic and discussion were so good, we present as complete a recording as possible. Thank you for understanding and we hope you enjoy.

All of our shows are listed as explicit due to some language, but also because we sometimes discuss topics, such as historical crime, that may not be suitable for all audiences.
