OH MY GOSH !!! We had an amazing person and an amazing friend on this week's episode. You get to meet Lynn Watkins-Asiyanbi. She is a passionate business leader and equity warrior (I totally just made that up - but it sounded really good!) We had a a great conversation on time vs commitment. Being able to separate time vs commitment will help you thrive more - in a transition or in general. Lynn shared some great tips and points - but more so, she shared her life and her story. And I thank her for that!!!
Here were some key points:
*Passion leads to opportunity
- Fulfill your passions through lived experiences
*Weight time vs commitment
- What brings me joy
- What’s important to me
*Make the best of your time and Set limits for your self
*It’s OK to NOT be OK
- Everyone needs support
*You can’t be what you can’t see
*Have flexibility in your goals
