Even under the direst of circumstances, we couldn't expect things to go our way if we didn't have confidence that they will. Faith is just as essential to our survival as the oxygen we breathe. It is like the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink that sustains us physically, but also feeds us spiritually.
