With the recent release of the Bill Murray’s new movie “The Friend” this weekend, C2 and Mr K were about to sit down to discuss the 46 year legendary film career of one of our favorite actors, Bill Murray. BUT then we discovered that C2 and Mr K can barely recall any good comedy movies over the last 10 - 15 years! So we lament, "What happened to comedy movies?" We analyze the Saturday Night Live formula that produced some great comedies from 1978 - 1985. We reminisce fondly over runs of great comedies from Ben Stiller, Wes Anderson. and Judd Apatow (to name a few). We also wonder what happened to satire and parodies and if there will ever be another Kevin Smith.
