Tina and Hillary cover civil rights activist Medgar Evers and the Petticoat Affair.
Medgar Evers started his work as a civil rights activist in the 1950s and eventually became a leading figure in Mississippi. BUT, after Evers was assassinated, his death galvanized the civil rights movement.
In 1829 Margaret “Peggy” Timberlake married US Senator John Eaton. But when the wives of high profile Washington DC elites find her behavior unacceptable, they embark on a crusade to shun her which leads to long lasting political challenges for Andrew Jackson’s cabinet.
