Just in time for a gripping heat wave, Murder, My Dude goes back deep in the heart of Texas!

Well, not really. This is more East Texas. Almost Louisiana, actually.

But - spoiler alert - the heat does play a part in cracking the mind-bending case at the center of our show this week. Texas oilman Greg Fleniken traveled for work constantly, and he loved his hotel rooms to be like, as his wife would describe, a meat locker. So when he was found dead in a hot, locked hotel room with few signs of external harm but massive internal injuries, police were at a loss to explain what happened, let alone bring his killers to justice.

Before we get into that, though, we discuss an awful roommate in Georgia and a wild shootout in Colorado in This Week In Murder. Later on, as always, we finish with a rousing game of Who Died The Worst!
