Of course we have to start the episode with Hov, as he celebrated his 50th birthday this week. Aleem discusses his favorite Hov memory.

Then we jump into this week’s playlist. We cover Wu Tang’s “Hollow Bones” first, and Aleem gives me his thoughts on the album this song is featured on and how it compares to the debut album from the group.

Then we cover Common ft. Nas “Ghetto Dreams.”

We talk on how this collaboration happened in 2011 and if it was long overdue. We also discuss if this song could also fit on a different Common album or a Nas album.

Next up is “Kick In The Door” by BIG. We touch on Biggie’s nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 and if he deserves to be inducted based on his limited number of albums.  On the topic of legends, we briefly talk about Wack 100’s comments about Nipsey not being a legend.
