Mel’s Recommendation:

Comic: Clean Room by Gail Simone and John Davis-Hunt

* This is a new psychological horror graphic novel available through Vertigo

* Journalist Chloe Pierce sets out to discover the secrets behind a giant self-help guru’s organization that she believes is behind her fiance’s suicide. As her quest continues, she starts to experience some very disturbing visions/hallucinations. Will a visit to Astrid Mueller’s secret Clean Room answer all of her questions?

* Prepare to be disturbed y’all. There are monkeys. Evil demon monkeys.

 

 

Kelly’s Recommendation:

Gadget: Asus ZenWatch 2

* An inexpensive yet functional  smartwatch that works excellently for notifications and reminders without having to reach for your android phone.

* It works with many apps you already use on your Android phone with more available regularly.

* It also looks pretty good, with numerous wristbands available. Some feel that the bezel might be too big, but for $149 what are you really complaining about here?

* Definitely give it a look if you’re in the market for a smartwatch.
