Episode 113: CARLITO'S WAY (1993)

Listen Later

Having survived Steven Spielberg's WAR OF THE WORLDS adaptation, Andrew and Dave finally touch upon another one the film brats which hit Hollywood in the 1970s: Brian De Palma! Specifically, the duo take a look at De Palma's 1993 film CARLITO'S WAY, and are joined by returning guest James "the 'h' is silent" Hrivnak!

How bonkers film? Is David Koepp's script awful? Did De Palma realize just how racist casting Al Pacino in the titular role is? Why does cheesecake come up so often? And just how many Simpsons references come up before it is all over? Tune in and find out!

Next Episode: The most unique - and baffling - remake of all time.

Opening theme by Andrew Kannegiesser. Editing by Dave Babbitt.
