Heather Lundy is a licensed professional counselor, an entrepreneur, and the Founder & CEO of Khesed Wellness, a mental health nonprofit based in Denver. Starting four companies by the age of 30, Heather is an explorer of innovative business models that invite others to thrive. She believes every person deserves access to affordable mental health and wellness care, and founded Khesed Wellness to make that happen. After three years of operations, Khesed has a team of 14 clinicians and 11 locations across the Denver Metro area with plans to move statewide and nationwide.

Khesed Wellness makes outpatient mental health and wellness services affordable for the underinsured, which is most of us. Unaffordable costs, insufficient insurance coverage, and difficulty getting an appointment are the top three barriers to seeking mental health care by Denver residents.* The concern for cost is the only barrier that has increased to 65% since 2015. Suicide is the leading cause of death for ages 10-24 in Colorado. Suicide is most common for the 45-64 age range, and men are three times as likely as women to die by suicide. Heather and her team believe these statistics will change through living kindness, which is the meaning of Khesed.
