Episode 113 // How to Script Your Dream Career in Pharmacy Industry
When it comes to pharmacy school, there’s a lot of resources to help you as a pharmacy student find your dream career…BUT…
…what if you have a passion and there’s nothing available to help develop it? That obstacle is exactly what this podcast episode guest faced, and instead of just “finding a different niche”, she created the solution to script her dream career in the pharmaceutical industry.
Megan Larison is a fourth-year pharmacy student at the University of Kentucky who will be graduating with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2020. She has plans to complete a postdoctoral pharmaceutical fellowship in Global Oncology Medical Affairs at Merck through the Rutgers Fellowship Program.
Megan has a strong passion for working in the pharmaceutical industry and in oncology. Megan served as the president of the Industry Pharmacist Organization at her school where she was able to share her passion for industry with others by providing them exposure to the pharmaceutical industry. She enjoys staying physically active and spending time outdoors with her dog, Henry. She is a strong believer that mental health is just as important as physical health and should be to others as well!
