Have you ever seen or read The Secret?

It is about the law of attraction.

What you put into the universe, you will receive back.

After being told that I should watch a movie that is a little older, I started looking for it.

For various reasons, I didn't stream it and never ordered it online.

It is old enough that it isn't really available at a typical brick and mortar store anymore.

So today while driving by a thrift store, I thought to myself, "hmm... I wonder if they might have it."

The chances were slim.

It's not like thrift stores put out an order for 15-year-old movies. They get what shows up by chance.

And even if it was there, it's not like it would be easy to find.

They don't exactly have a filing system in place. You really have to look for things.

But guess what?

It was there and it practically jumped out at me.

So, for $2.99 I bought Cinderella Man.

What made me stop there today, I don't know.

Why was exactly what I was looking for there, and why did I find it?

Was it meant to be? Was it the Law of Attraction? Or, was it simply coincidence?

I don't know the answer to those questions either.

What I do know is that this isn't the first time I've thought of something and it happened.

Maybe it was just dumb luck, but I prefer to think it was...
