Episode 113: Traveling Not to Escape Life but so Life Doesn’t Escape Me

Aloha (still) from Maui! In the last episode, I promised to explain how I ended up in Hawaii for two months, so in this episode, I’m sharing everything! When my adult children moved out of the house, I decided to take a gamble and put my home on Airbnb. I joined an app called Trusted Housesitters and my journey started.

In this episode I discuss:

Decluttering my home to put it on Airbnb;

How the TrustedHousesitters app works;

How travel has allowed me to discover things and places that I like and don’t like;

The hardships of living out of a suitcase;

Being okay with living the life you want;

Traveling to enhance your life, not run away from it.

I’ve learned a lot in the four months that I’ve been traveling. I’m extremely grateful to be in a position that allows me to explore the world one town at a time! I’ve crafted my life so that I can do what I’d like with my time. You can too!
