Fear is just the body’s way of trying to keep itself out of danger, but it isn’t always a reliable narrator. The prospect of change–even good change–can trigger big fear reactions that, if taken too seriously, can hold us back from our own highest good. We can’t banish fear (we aren’t supposed to) but we can choose to transcend fear, moment by moment, by feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
