Episode 116 - Do Rabbots Dream of Electric Cheepz - The Director's Cut

Listen Later

It's finally here: the "Godfather Saga" of rabbit-themed sci-fi radio plays -- "Do Rabbots Dream of Electric Cheepz?: The Director's Cut." Listen to parts 1 and 2 of Robb Maynard's sic-fi masterpiece in one glorious file!
The planet Efrafa (formerly Earth) is now a futuristic dystopia populated by highly-intelligent Easter Bunnies, who build a despised underclass of cybernetic chocolate rabbits to use as forced labor. But when the chocolate rabbots (or rabb-licants) rise up against their furry oppressors, things start to get hare-y. The fate of society rests in the paws of a solitary Blade Hopper, a grizzled detective named Periwinkle, who must quell the uprising before it ignites into full-blown Rabb-olution.
This original sci-fi comedy is a work of satire based upon or inspired by Ridley Scott's motion picture “Blade Runner,” Phillip K. Dick's novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?,” Karel Čapek's 1920 stage play “Rossum's Universal Robots,” and Richard Adam's novel “Watership Down.”
Written by Robb Maynard and featuring the vocal talents of Tim Blaney (“Men In Black,” “Short Circuit”), Frank Dietz (“Zombie Nightmare”), Carolina Hidalgo (“The Mads Are Back! Podcast,” “SiriusXM”), Jackey Raye Neyman Jones (“Manos: The Hands of Fate”), and all the rest of your favorite Revival League Podcast Players (if any).
This podcast does not represent Alternaversal, Shout Factory or the Kickstarter campaign in any official capacity, and is not an official production of "Mystery Science Theater 3000." It is made by fans for fans, and anyone else who loves the show.
