I think that we get overcoming fears mixed up with getting rid of fears.
I don't believe one can simply get rid of a fear.
I believe that, even if you get over a fear, it will always reside in you.
You just become a master of that fear.
It can always creep in on you, but you, with a few tools, have the ability to control the amount of power it holds over you.
Today I watched a video from a business partner of mine, Heather Hughes, "The Linkedin Lady Boss".

She shared that one of her fears is what other people think.
This seems strange considering how vulnerable she lets herself be on social media.
But just because she shares so much with the world, does not mean she doesn't have a fear of how it will be received.
Like I said, mastering a fear doesn't make it disappear, it just means that you have been able to overcome it in a way that it seems like it is no longer there.
Here are 3 tips for mastering your fears:
1) Practice - Whatever is causing you fear, go directly at it.
2) Understanding Your Journey - Know that this is your journey and that things will change as you make your way through. You will have to adjust occasionally but stay the cource.
3) Laser Focus - Know what your goal is and aim with precision.
