Steve Baker is one of the most talented musicians to ever call Prince George home. He’s originally from Newfoundland, though he grew up in Mackenzie, and has become a very popular local high school teachers. Steve has coordinated various musical productions over the years with high school students and is currently teaching at Duchess Park Secondary School.

Steve hosts many musical gigs around Prince George, many of which are fundraisers, where he performs with his guitar on-stage at the community’s most popular venues.

Steve is a cancer survivor who rides with Wheelin’ Warriors of the North. This August, Steve will be participating in the annual Tour de Cure to help raise money for the BC Cancer Foundation. Funds raised through the Tour de Cure will support life-saving research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer, bringing hope to cancer patients in British Columbia and making an impact around the world.
