Professor Peter Zandstra, Director of the Michael Smith Laboratories at The University of British Columbia, is interviewed by Group Leader Dr Davide Danovi. Peter talks about his work understanding blood development from stem cells and how this can be used improve therapeutics for diseases such as leukaemia. He discusses his beginnings as a chemical engineer and how this has shaped his career path.
