Everyone loves a good story, right?
That's why we go to the movies, binge-watch shows (even those terrible "reality" ones), or pre-order the latest book from Stephen King or some new author I know nothing about.
But you know who else has interesting, moving and inspiring stories? You!
And your stories are YOUR experiences from YOUR perspective. And you have a right to share them.
Now...this doesn't mean that you're going to spill deep, dark family secrets. But it also doesn't mean that you're NOT going to.
Sharing our stories allows us to tell the world who we are, and why we are the way we are. Sharing our stories allows us to learn from and connect with each other. Sharing our stories allows us to inspire, support and encourage one another.
But there are likely going to be people in your life who don't want you sharing your story. Their reasons may vary.
But then it's up to you to decide whether you silence yourself to appease others, or continue telling your story because that's what's been placed on your heart to do.
In this episode, I share my story about sharing my stories. And if that sounds weird, just press "Play." You'll see what I'm talking about. ;)
Did you love this episode? If so, I want to know! Send me a DM @itsactuallykristi on Instagram, or send me an email at [email protected].
If you reallllly loved the episode, please "Like It" or "Heart It" or whatever it is you need to do to show the podcast some love on whatever platform you're listening on. And if you leave a review, please let me know so I can personally thank you! (And I actually will!)
Oh - and one last thing! You can share whatever episode you're enjoying in your Stories too! If you do, be sure to tag @itsactuallykristi and I'll re-share!
OK....I think that's it! Thank you SO much for listening - I really DO appreciate it and I appreciate YOU!
