In the early morning hours of June 23, 1991, Dorothy Donovan was awoken by the sound of glass breaking. As she investigated the noise, she was shocked to find a mysterious stranger at the bottom of her stairs. The man attacked, stabbing Dorothy repeatedly. While investigating her murder, police had a difficult time looking past the bizarre coincidences that led to Dorothy's death.
