As born again believers we must learn how to live for God so that our conduct is praiseworthy as Christians. James teaches us three areas of life which are very important for our spiritual maturity and victory. We must learn to be quick to listen to God, slow to speak and slow to get angry. Our motive is to be led by the Word of Truth and be transformed. Many Christians struggle in these areas as they are not taught or caught these Biblical truths. It is our nature to live contrary to what God says but now we must deny ourselves and follow Jesus by taking up our cross. When we submit to the Word of God, it leads us to great blessing. May the Lord enable each one of us to practise these precious truths and live them out daily. Amen. SDG.
