When we're watching a super hero movie, most of us root for the "good guys," right?
Because the "bad guys" are, well...BAD!
But are they? What if they're just misunderstood?
What if the story we're being told about why someone is the villain isn't even true?
Have you ever been cast as "The Villain" in someone else's story? I have, and it sucks because I know I'm not the bad guy. And another thing? It hurts, especially when it's the people that are supposed to be "closest to you" who think that.
What I've come to realize is that if people want to cast you as "The Villain," let them. If people are going to twist everything you say or do in a way that constantly makes THEM the victim of your wicked ways, create your own plot twist and just let them.
Don't try to convince them you're not who they think you are. Your time and energy is better spent on those who actually "get"you. Those who KNOW you're a good person without having to be convinced of it.
Not everyone is going to like you, and that can include your family. But trust me - as long as YOU know who you truly you are, and validation from others isn't crucial to your happiness and self worth, you're going to be OK.

OK....I think that's it! Thank you SO much for listening - I really DO appreciate it and I appreciate YOU!
