Episode 119: Supercast Returns - Doom Patrol, Umbrella Academy, New Shazam Trailer, Dark Pheonix Trailer, The Offenders, Collectible Cave, More!
Welcome back. It has been one month since we last recorded, but do not worry, we are back to our usual weekly schedule! We fill you guys in on what each of us has been up to lately, but more importantly, we begin with DC Weekly where we FINALLY get to talk about and rate the first 3 episodes of Doom Patrol. Did DC Universe birth another hit? See what we think! Also in DC Weekly, we have our Superboy in DCU's Titans! We review the new Shazam! Trailer, go over all of the most recent news for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, and we also talk about the announcement of the upcoming Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated movie annoucement, and DC's new deal with McFarlane Toys! In Marvel Weekly this week we review the new X-Men Dark Pheonix Trailer, and for news we go over each of the 4 new animated marvel shows over on Hulu, including their big team up titled "The Offenders". In other news this week we talk about character descriptions and all the news of the upcoming Star Trek Picard series, Chris Hemsworth cast as Hulk Hogan, and more. We hit up Tube Talk to review the following: Umbrella Academy, Wayne, Russian Doll, Peppermint, Bohemian Rhapsody, and more! We finally return to Collectible Cave to close us out, as Joe goes over something special he ordered, and Jordan goes over what he picked up lately including 6 new superhero shirts, the Marvel Legends Mysterio figure, Jay Garrick Flash Funko Pop, the Dragon Dagger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, his trip to the Disney Store, and a few more things.
