The passing of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper gave us cause to rewatch John Carpenter's 1988 classic They Live. The film tackles a lot of issues that we still deal with today. Homelessness, the 1%, media controlling us, bumfights... One day, I hope Carpenter decides that he's had enough of all of it and decides that for mankind to make it, we need to have peace and prosperity for all. Then he'll make his magnum opus...They Love.
