Welsh author Alis Hawkins joins our hosts down the Red Rabbit Hole this week. Alis writes historical crime thrillers and mysterious and has journeyed though many a red rabbit hole, and even a weird warren or three, for her research. She talks about her books, The Oxford Mystery Series, and manages to divide Nicky and Lisa on which side of history they are on with the Skeleton Army – spoiler alert, it’s all about getting drunk! They sing some ditties, have some funny arguments and Lisa reads out yet another old poem – as bad as our Victorian poet William McGonagall? You’ll have to listen for yourself.
