Recently did an interview with Nicha Cumberbatch, a certified Physician Assistant, a birth advocacy educator, a doula advocate mentor, and the Assistant Director of Public Health for Spora Health. Nicha explains what a doula is and isn't, the history behind having a doula during pregnancy, and the benefits of having a doula.

She also serves as the Spora Doula for the Spora Momma program. Nicha is currently completing a Doctorate in Medical Science with Clinical Leadership and Black Maternal Health as her areas of focus.
