Episode 12: Crossing Borders: Foreign Women's Fight for Justice and Equality

Listen Later

The explosion of K-pop music across western airwaves has caused lots of swooning and very misleading, false ideologies concerning how some men actually behave towards foreign women in their homelands. Desirable aesthetics, exceptional talent and culture have no correlation to how men respond to women. In this episode, I share the true life stories of women from diverse cultures and backgrounds, living in foreign countries who weren't lucky enough to find princes. Instead, they found living, breathing nightmares. Join me in traveling across the globe to discover how a few very brave women found perseverance and fought to reclaim their lives---free from oppression and injustice.
