Episode 12 – The boys highlight some recent NHL news including the debuts of the #1 & #2 overall picks Owen Power & Matty Beniers, the Buffalo Sabres continuing their dominance of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Vegas Golden Knights' late push for the playoffs, the red-hot Florida Panthers eight-game win streak, Auston Matthews's historic season and much more! The High Slot gang also gave their weekly hometown Bruins recap and discussed the team’s recent performance.
This week the boys were joined by their former Coach, Matt Gibbons, of the North Quincy High School Hockey Team. Coach Gibbons has been the NQHS hockey coach since 2010 and has had great success in his tenure with NQ winning multiple Patriot League titles and making many deep runs in the MIAA state tournament. The boys took a trip down memory lane with Coach Gibbons and reflected on their playing days with the NQ puck team. This was a great interview that sends a strong message to all hockey players on what high school hockey is truly about.
The boys wrap up this week’s episode by taking a trip to the gambling corner and preview some highly anticipated matchups across the NHL this weekend. You’ll get to hear their analysis on these games as well as some best bets for the weekend to put some coin in your pocket.
