Episode 12: Guest Interview With My Brothers On Their Perspective Of Living Through The Adversity As The Sibling
I sit down and chat with my brothers in this episode about the day and year our lives forever changed in 1995. This experience not only happened to me, it happened to them as well and impacted them and the rest of their lives in it’s own way. They actually have more memory of the experience than I do since I have the damage to my brain that caused the memory loss. This chat was very meaningful to me and healing on many levels – before this, we never really sat down and processed this chapter together, especially as adults. If you or someone you know is a sibling to someone who endured a trauma of any kind – this chat is very insightful and helpful to hear the perspective of sibling, especially as children. My wish is that we provide hope and insight from this chat.
Special thanks to my brothers for their vulnerability and open-ness with me in this conversation. I am grateful for their roles in my life and the support they have always given me since day one, but especially as adults, I have a deeper appreciation today of what they endured as children through my story. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices they made and the grace and love they gave me and continue to give me.
