Chuseok is a national holiday in Korea; the equivalent to Thanksgiving in the US. It is a time to celebrate the harvest as well as quality time with family. Millions of Koreans hit the roads to their ancestral towns to pay their respect.
Having a multicultural family is a wonderful experience during this time of year. I will be addressing the importance of my children acknowledging their Korean heritage.
