In today’s episode, Mitch got to sit down with Joshua Lederman of McAndrews Chiropractic. Josh has been in the chiropractic business for his entire career, but took over the McAndrews practice in March 2019. They talked about what makes Josh different as a chiropractor. The McKenzie method, which consists of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and is one of the hallmarks of his practice, along with giving people strategies to manage their symptoms rather than making them dependent on visits with him. Josh’s target market for these methods is men or women with neuromuscular or skeletal symptoms from ages 30-55. Typically, he sees people with lower back and neck pain, or headaches. In order to reach potential clients, Josh utilizes monthly blogs, posted on his WordPress site as well as social media. He has seen success using Facebook, Yelp, and certain technologies that send out texts or emails to patients to ask them to write a review. According to Josh, potential patients like to see that someone had similar symptoms and had a great experience, so Josh tries to hone in on reviews as much as he can.
