Alexia Vidal is a Kindergarten teacher in Atlantic City, NJ, and 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year. She is a wife and mother of 2 boys. Outside the classroom, she is a hip-hop dancer, choreographer, and fitness instructor. She has been teaching hip hop for over 11 years and infuses it into her pedagogy as an educator. She has also presented at the Revolutionary Education Conference, ESGI Conference, NJEA Teachers Convention, and Elevate conferences. She is known as the @dancerteacher on Instagram. Her work focuses on how we bridge energy to encourage, motivate, and empower students for absolute excellence and joy.
