Laura Findlay was gracious enough to be my first interviewee back in December 2017. We talk about her life in the photo industry and as a painter in Toronto, teaching, and how paintings really can become metaphors and language for life (at least for artists). Notable "pop culture" references include The Great British Bake off, Very British Problems and other things related to weird colonial reality television.
