Our speech matters. What we say and how we choose to say matters to God because it reveals our hearts and it impacts those around us. While the world often encourages us to be snarky and quick-witted, God calls us to something higher. When Jesus tells us to be “salty,” He wants us to use our speech for His glory, whether that means responding to others with grace, refraining from gossip, or being brave enough to share the gospel when the opportunity arises.
