Minh-Anh Pham & William Walcker faced a big challenge when they launched their startup: they wanted to sell cricket-based food in Canada, a country that doesn’t have the culture to eat insects. But they had ambition and they believed they could offer everyone, and especially athletes, a more sustainable option as their source of protein. Minh-Anh and William developed a business strategy and invested in a strong brand. Now, their company, Naak, is a leading maker of insect-based food that help athletes perform better and lead healthy lifestyles.
